On August 11-12, 2019 the General Director of the FIZ Poti, David Ebralidze and the Chief Investment Officer, Tamar Sakheishvili participated in the first Caspian economic forum organized under the auspices of Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov held in Turkmenbashi. Georgian delegation along with the Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Iran took part in the forum.
Within the forum frames, representatives of FIZ Poti held official bilateral meetings with the forum delegates and participated in thematic sessions on trade and economic cooperation in the Caspian region. In parallel, the forum delegates discussed transport and logistics potential of the Caspian and Black Seas and respective cooperation perspectives.
