A meeting was held in Poti between the leaders, where the main topic was the construction of a new alternative bypass road connecting the terminals and the coast.
The meeting was attended by Poti Mayor Gocha Kurdghelia, First Deputy Mayor Konstantine Topuria, Free Industrial Zone Director Davit Ebralidze, Poti Office Manager Davit Bziava. During the meeting, the involvement of FIZ and other technical issues were discussed.
Increased cargo turnover at the Port of Poti and the construction of new enterprises have put on the agenda the need for alternative road construction that will connect port terminals, free industrial zones, bypassing the city with the Central Highway.
